Faculty of Fine Arts Opens
Bilkent University's Faculty of Fine Arts opens its doors to students, The Fine Arts and Graphic Design departments are established.

Interior Architecture and Environmental Design
Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design is established, one of the first of its kind at a foundation university.

Urban Design and Landscape Architecture
Department of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture is established, bring the two fields together at an undergraduate level.

2026 TODAY
FADA consists of six departments and continues to encourage work and collaboration across disciplinary boundaries. Intersections brings together student and graduate work from all six departments exploring four decades of encounters and exchanges.
